WINNING BIDS IN TURKEY: INSIDE EUROPE'S FASTEST GROWING PPP MARKET

http://www.partnershipsbulletin.com/conferences/view/8

Turkey’s PPP market is building to be one of the most exciting in Europe with a raft of deals coming to market. Healthcare projects are progressing thick and fast and the Turkish Ministry of Health is planning US$5bn of PPPs over the next five years. The big-ticket transport schemes, such as the €7bn Gebze-Izmir toll road and a package involving the privatisation of the country's road network, are also proving popular with both domestic and international players.

But Turkey’s PPP market is not without its obstacles and issues in the political and legal environment could slow procurement. Are the deals and pipeline being structured in an attractive way and will Turkey live up to its potential?

The ‘Winning bids’ conferences are a series of one-day events bringing delegates practical information about how to win new PPP business. Focusing on growth areas and emerging markets, the conferences will bring together public procurers looking to attract new partners with the private sector looking to enter new markets. Through panel discussions and networking, players from different regions will also share views, experience and know-how about how to implement a strong PPP pipeline.
