Local Partnerships 2010 Conference

The morning session will focus on the localism agenda, the role and implications of Total Place following the publication of the report by CLG and HM Treasury at the Budget, the efficiency strategy and the future of partnerships generally at a time of straitened finances. The session will conclude with a panel debate that will discuss the new political environment post-election and the wider ramifications for local authorities and other public bodies.

The afternoon takes a detailed look at developments in three key areas: complex commercial transactions & investment; assurance, compliance & operational support; and transformation, improvement & efficiency.  These three topics will be addressed in the form of concurrent workshops, enabling you to tailor the conference to your particular needs.
