This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic project manager from a non construction background. The responsibilities include Management of the feasibility and / or implementation stages for academy projects in accordance with the requirements of DCSF. Ensure the project complies with all DCSF protocols, procedures and reporting requirements as may exist at the time of delivering the project. Development of and monitoring of project brief, project plan and budget plan. Work alongside functional specialists where appropriate to procure and manage any third party consultancy services that may be required for the project e.g. legal support, marketing and branding, ICT, recruitment consultants, FF&E specialists etc. Proactively manage stakeholder relationships; DCSF, Sponsors, Local Authority etc to ensure that the project moves forward in alignment with overall project objectives. To lead and/or contribute to the bidding solution and proposal writing/development for new Academy Projects. Ideal candidate will have experience in directing and leading teams in the delivery of projects.
