DLA appoints finance & projects head

6 February 2017 Law firm DLA Piper has appointed a new international head of finance and projects.

UK finance head Martin Bartlam will take on the role from 1 May this year, taking up the reins from Charles Morrison, who will remain at the firm and focus on building his energy and infrastructure practice.

Bartlam has over 20 years of experience as a finance lawyer and has lectured on and acted as external examiner on international bond finance, project finance, syndicated lending and financial instruments at Kings College, London University.

His role as head of UK finance will be taken by Leeds managing partner Sarah Day, while Colin Wilson remains as head of projects.

DLA Piper was among the advisers that attended the market information day for hotly anticipated Norwegian road PPP programme earlier this year.
