NI seeks £100m infra fund intermediary

17 March 2017 Northern Ireland’s Department of Finance and the Strategic Investment Board have launched a tender for a financial intermediary to support its planned £100m infrastructure investment fund.

Together with the European investment Bank (EIB), the Northern Irish government is looking to appoint the financial intermediary to provide fund management services for the investment.

Under the plans, the investment will be issued to the intermediary for onward investment in projects, and it is intended that the initiative will also leverage money from other investors, at fund and/or project level.

Interested parties have until 19 June to respond to the tender.
