Winner for Oxleas SEP

11 April 2017 A preferred bidder has been chosen for the Oxleas NHS Foundation Trustís strategic estate partnership (SEP).

The Health Innovation Partners joint venture between Arcadis and Community Solutions (part of Morgan Sindall) has been chosen as the winner on the deal, beating off competition from three other teams that were shortlisted in September last year.

Under the deal, the parties will enter into a 50:50 partnership for 10-15 years, during which time the vehicle will help rationalise and develop the trust’s estate, helping to optimise and develop surplus assets to reduce costs and maximise revenue for the trust.

The Health Innovation Partners team beat a Kajima-gbPartnerships joint venture and Bilfinger RE Asset Management after they were shortlisted last year. Ryhurst was also shortlisted but pulled out of the procurement.

Meanwhile, Hub West Scotland and Morgan Sindall have reached financial close on its  Gorbals & Woodside Health and Care Centres project.
