Havering tenders regen JV

17 May 2017 The London Borough of Havering has issued a contract notice for an £800m regeneration joint venture.

A partner will form a long-term corporate joint venture property vehicle to secure investment and expertise to deliver Havering's housing-led regeneration strategy.

As previously reported, the initial programme includes around 3,000 new homes across 12 sites, as well as other facilities to help the regeneration of the area, including opportunities for development sales. There may be other sites acquired by the council, including through the joint venture.

The contract will run for an initial 15 years, with extension periods of five years, up to a maximum of 30 years.

The contract is expected to start in February 2018.

Responses are due by 13 June. For contact details, click here.
