NHS trust preps research centre PPP

8 June 2017 An NHS trust has issued a prior information notice for the delivery of a research centre under a PPP model.

Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust plans to tender a contract for a third party to design, build and finance a new T3 Research Centre.

The trust expects the 2,000sq m infrastructure to include outpatient and day-case space, with the possibility to conduct clinical trials and research.

Estimated at £12m, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust plans to issue a contract notice at the end of July.

Another NHS trust has recently launched a nationwide framework for the delivery of car parks under a PPP model, which could be worth up to £600m.
