Five in for Irish housing PPP

7 July 2017 The Irish government has received pre-qualifications from five teams for the first social housing PPP bundle with international contractors and investors in the mix, Partnerships Bulletin understands.

The teams are led by:

Carillion, Sammon; 
Cubic, Collen;
Kajima, Equitix, JJ Rhatigan, Aberdeen; and
Sisk, Macquarie

The National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) issued a contract notice in May for a private partner to design, build, finance, operate and maintain for 25 years post-construction, six social housing sites in the counties of Louth, Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.

Dublin City Council is the sponsoring agency and the Department for Housing, Planning, Community & Local Government is the sanctioning authority.

Meanwhile, the NDFA has announced the Drogheda Courthouse, the first of seven courthouses in the Courts Bundle PPP Project, reached service commencement last month.
