West Yorks police deal signed

The West Yorkshire Police PFI deal has reached financial close.
A consortium led by support services giant Interserve was announced preferred bidder on the £216m deal back in December and is on track to close by the end of this week.Interserve and joint venture partner Equitix will provide equity of £4.3m each for the project, while pensions giant Aviva will provide the debt.
The Treasury and Home Office sanctioned the appointment of the preferred bidder in December.
Under the terms of the deal, Interserve will be required to deliver two new divisional headquarters, custody suites and a specialist operational training centre.
