Interserve seals innovative health deal

Support services giant Interserve has announced a major new deal with three NHS trusts to provide a wide range of services, including estate management.
The deal will see the firm provide facilities and estate management, as well as strategic consultancy advice, to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland NHS Trusts.Valued at £300m over seven years, the innovative contract is designed to put the trusts in a position to attain Foundation Trust status.
“This project will enable the trusts to capture value through reconfiguring both the estate and the way in which it is serviced,” said Interserve chief executive, Adrian Ringrose.
“As one of the largest providers of multi-service facilities management in the health sector, Interserve is well placed to deliver this transformation.”
