Winner for Health PPPs

4 March 2013 A preferred bidder has been chosen for India’s first lot of community health centre PPPs in rural areas.

Sheel Nursing Home Group will deliver 16 community health centres in the most remote hilly areas of the Uttarakhand state. The project has been split up into two lots, with Sheel being chosen for the first eight centres.

The contract consists of the operation and management of the centres and will see Sheel managing all clinical, inpatients department (IPD) and outpatients department (OPD) services besides maintaining the physical assets for a period of five years.

Each of the health centres will have maximum six specialists and other medical professionals.
