Chile appoints new MOP director

6 March 2013 A new director has been appointed for Chile’s Ministry of Public Works (MOP)

Carlos Plass will assume the role of director of the MOP’s Concessions Unit team and be responsible for a pipeline of projects, valued at around $4.5bn.

Prior to this role, Plass was general manager of the SCL terminal concession at Santiago International airport, CEO of Aeris Holding in Costa Rica and was the concessionaire for the Juan Santamaria International Airport.

He joined the MOP, as a member of the Concessions Unit, in 2012.
