Alpha Schools Consortium in the Running
Highland Council has announced the Alpha Schools consortium as a potential partner for its £90 million PPP contract to build new schools. The projects include the replacement of 7 primary schools and 5 high schools and 2 special schools.The Alpha Schools consortium comprises of Noble PFI Fund Ltd, AWG Project Investment, AWG Construction Services and AWG Facilities Services. Architectural design will be handled by Keppie Design and AWG Facilities services will provide facilities management services for the schools.
The Council are looking to award the contract by summer next year and the first school is anticipated to be completed by June 2005. With the entire portfolio completed by June 2008.
