Project description:

Design, build, finance, operate and maintain new educational facilities. It is anticipated that these services will include hard and soft facilities management services. The programme will cover approximately 100 secondary schools, a mix of primary schools, secondary schools, special schools and sixth form colleges.

It is expected that 20 % of the total programme will be delivered each year, with the first schools scheduled to open in the academic year of 2014-15. The initial group is expected to commence procurement during the second quarter of 2012.

Procurement of the programme will be managed and delivered centrally. Private finance arrangements will be used.
