| Project description: | Essex County Council is part of wave four of the Building Schools for the Future programme and plans to deliver its second PPP phase using a LEP. The LEP will deliver a strategic investment programme for secondary school facilities. Services include construction, managed ICT, hard facilities management, soft FM and primary school development as part of the primary capital plan. There will be build 3 schools under Design and Build contracts (Wates has been selected as Preferred Bidder) and one school (Woodlands) under PFI (Skanksa selected as the Preferred Bidder).
