Project name: STAFFORDSHIRE HIGHWAYS PARTNERSHIP
Project description:

Staffordshire County Council plans to enter into a partnership with a contractor for 10 years to deliver an integrated highways service contract. The deal will see the successful bidder delivering major flagship schemes, as well as maintaining 6,000km of highways and contributing to the running of the authority’s streetlighting.

The council will maintain a 60% voting control in the partnership.

The contract will run for 10 years with an option of a further 10, and it is expected to be worth around £80m per year.
