Project name: Leicestershire Waste
Project description: Leicestershire County Council and Leicester Council have issued a joint prior information notice, seeking information from interested parties on how they can tackle the disposal of 157,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste from 2020, plus a further 90,000 tonnes from 2029.

A tender notice will be issued in February 2017, once an appropriate solution has been chosen by the councils.
