Project description:

Surrey County Council has launched a concession notice for a partner to enter into a corporate joint venture for site development works.

The authority is seeking a private operator to identify sites for development and conduct works under a design, build and finance (DBF) model under a 15-year concession.

As part of the £1.5bn contract, the winner will provide a range of services including options appraisals, market analysis, land promotion as well as management for planning permissions, supply chain and development works.

An additional 29 local councils and public sector bodies have expressed interest in using the joint venture (JV) to develop sites in addition to Surrey and East Sussex County Councils. 

Bidders have until midday on 27 March 2017 to express their interest.
