Project Information
Project name: UK: Devon waste transfer facility
Project description:

Devon County Council is seeking a private partner to design, build and finance a waste transfer facility at a site in Brynsworthy, north Devon.

The private partner will deliver the waste transfer centre, which will then be purchased by the authority and leased back to the private partner for the 10-year contract.

The deal may also be extended for a further five years should both parties agree to it.

The waste transfer facility will receive 41,000 tonnes of waste collected by the district councils of North Devon and Torridge, plus a further 3,000 tonnes from the county council.

Interested parties have until midday on 28 July 2017 to respond, with invitations to tender due to be sent out on 7 August.
