Project name: UK: University of York Heslington East Campus Phase 1
Project description:

The University of York is looking for a private partner to design, build, finance, operate and maintain nearly 1,200 bed spaces in its Heslington East Campus as it seeks to meet its predicted target of 20,000 students by 2025.

The contract may include multiple phases with the delivery of an additional 800 bed spaces.

The university expects the first phase of the project to be operational in the 2020/21 academic year and will lease the site to the concessionaire for a 50-year term.

The advisers for the authority are Cushman & Wakefield, Pinsent Masons, QMPF and Faithful & Gould.

Interested parties have until 28 July 2017 to submit responses. The university hopes to appoint a preferred bidder in March 2018 and reach financial close in November.
