InfraRed Capital Partners has appointed Michael Straka as its new head of capital.

InfraRed Capital Partners has appointed Michael Straka as its new head of capital.

Joining from DWS, where he led its global Infrastructure Sales & Investor Relations team, Straka will start his new role in 2022.

Working out of London, UK, Straka will lead the development of a “strengthened, integrated global fundraising and investor relations strategy”.

Werner von Guionneau, chief executive officer of InfraRed, said the appointment of Straka will support the firm’s success in “strategically positioning the company with investors and fostering a client-led, proactive and dynamic investor relations culture for our growing and diversified range of infrastructure investments”.

Earlier this week InfraRed announced that it had made Thomas Buss, Phil George, Edward Hunt, Dulce Mendonca, Jack Paris and Sean Watson new partners at the firm.
