Chile’s Ministry of Public Works (MOP) has appointed Marcela Hernández Meza as the new general director of its concessions arm.

Meza has recently served as the deputy director of the body since March this year, having previously worked as a technical panel member of the concessions board and headed up its financial studies and analysis division.

Over the last few years, Chile has been gathering significant momentum in the P3 space – tendering and delivering a number of healthcare bundles and projects, including releasing a call for proposals last week.
