The Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) is preparing to issue tenders on 29 October 2021 for P3 technical and financial advisors. It has yet to be determined whether the call will be a request for qualifications or a request for proposals.
The TFC has previously undertaken P3 procurements, although the model has dropped out of favor in the state over recent years.
However, in April this year the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) sought legal consultants to support its P3 capacity, suggesting the state could be looking to up its use of the model once more.
