Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Transport have unveiled a shortlist of three teams for the Highway 3 Expansion P3 project.
The teams selected are:
- Erie Shores Infrastructure Partners
Brennan Infrastructure, Amico Infrastructures, Parsons, EXP Services, Colas Projects and Operis
- Coco Paving
Coco Paving, Dillon Consulting, Golder Associates and National Bank Finance
- Highway 3 Corridor Developers
Aecon, Plenary and Consor Engineers
In June, the authority released a request for qualification (RFQ) on the project which will see over 15.6km of highway widened from two to four lanes across two segments, at a cost estimated to exceed C$200m.
Infrastructure Ontario said the project has been designed to support the long-term transport needs of a “critical highway that provides regional and international connectivity”.
An RFP is expected to be released sometime this month, with the contract slated to be executed by Fall 2022.
