Déau, who is chief executive and founder of Meridiam, has been appointed honorary chairman of the LTIIA, an organization he founded in 2014.
In his place, the board of the LTIIA has chosen Vincent Levita, founder and CEO of InfraVia Capital Partners and a fellow board member of the industry association for the past two years.
“We are grateful to Thierry for all the work achieved, the value delivered to the industry and the corresponding recognition gained by LTIIA,” said Levita. “We will do our utmost to uphold the principles and objectives of the association.”
Since 2014, the LTIIA has brought together institutional investors that collectively manage close to $350bn of infrastructure assets and aims to facilitate and promote investment in infrastructure which enables long-term, sustainable development.
