Peru’s Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) has the approved the Multiannual Report on Investments in Public-Private Associations (IMIAPP 2020-2022) – a key report that will bring forward 18 sanitation P3s.
The IMIAPP is the sanitation sector’s investment strategic plan, aligned with Peru’s National Sanitation Plan and the National Infrastructure Plan for Competitiveness.
Set to benefit 10 million Peruvians, the 18 projects are made up of 13 co-financed P3s and five self-financed P3s.
The projects include desalination plants, wastewater treatment plants, and compressive sanitation projects.
Last month, ProInversion, Peru’s private investment agency, launched the tender of one of these projects: the $50m sewage and wastewater concession in the City of Puerto Maldonado.
