The University of Idaho is seeking a concessionaire for the management and operation of its energy and utility systems in Moscow campus under a long-term agreement.
The concessionaire will make a to-be-determined one-time upfront payment to the university which will fund initiatives and investments across the university.
The partner will be responsible for operation, maintenance and capital renewal of the existing facilities as well as investments in deferred maintenance to improve operations and maintenance.
A district energy plant, the electrical distribution system and water systems are all part of the concession agreement.
An optional pre-submission meeting and campus tour will take place on November 19, with registrations due by November 15.
Statements of qualifications are due by December 18.
The university expects to have a shortlist in January 2020 to select a winner in the spring.
Rieth Jones Advisors is supporting the university.
