Mayer Brown adds to NY team

Mayer Brown has appointed Chadron Edwards as counsel in New York.

He is a member of the firm’s global projects group and the infrastructure investment team.

Edwards represents a mix of sponsors, lenders and other entities in connection with a wide range of project financing transactions, with a focus on energy and infrastructure.

He has particularly strong expertise in renewable energy finance and public-private partnership transactions, the firm said in a statement.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Edwards was in a credit structuring role in the transportation, infrastructure and energy group at a major project finance bank in New York.

Infrastructure Investment team co-leader Paul Astolfi said: “One of the unique aspects of our infrastructure practice at Mayer Brown is our strength across projects, P3, and infrastructure M&A, and with investor, lender, and public sector clients. Chadron’s experience cuts across these areas and clients and is a great fit for Mayer Brown.”
