A spokesperson for the county told P3 Bulletin that the competitive selection committee recommended the following organizations to deliver the project:
M-S-E Judicial Partners;
Plenary Group USA Concessions; and
Sacyr Infrastructure USA
“The recommendation will now go through the administrative approval process to determine the shortlist,” the spokesperson added.
The authority told P3 Bulletin in early October that it had received five responses for the project, including the three recommended organizations as well as Hunt Companies and Fengate Capital Management, on behalf of Miami Metro Justice Partners.
However, a spokesperson for Fengate confirmed that the company "declined to make the presentation" of a firm response.
Miami-Dade County retendered the project in July, seeking partners to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new integrated courthouse facility in downtown Miami to replace the existing 90-year-old Miami-Dade County Courthouse building.
