DC seeks P3 director

The District of Columbia is seeking applications to head up the Office of Public-Private Partnerships (OP3).

Open until filled, the position of director requires demonstrated knowledge, training, or experience in infrastructure development; capital markets and finance; public-sector planning; and procurement.

The P3 office serves as the main public entity responsible for facilitating the development, solicitation, evaluation, award, delivery, and oversight of P3s that involve a public entity in the district.

The position reports to the City Administrator.

The office was established by the Public-Private Partnership Act of 2014 to expand the utilization of P3s in the district by streamlining the procurement process, serving as an in-house consultant and liaison between district agencies and private sector partners.
