Open until filled, the position of director requires demonstrated knowledge, training, or experience in infrastructure development; capital markets and finance; public-sector planning; and procurement.
The P3 office serves as the main public entity responsible for facilitating the development, solicitation, evaluation, award, delivery, and oversight of P3s that involve a public entity in the district.
The position reports to the City Administrator.
The office was established by the Public-Private Partnership Act of 2014 to expand the utilization of P3s in the district by streamlining the procurement process, serving as an in-house consultant and liaison between district agencies and private sector partners.

As previously reported, Kathryn Roos has been appointed as interim director of the OP3.
Applications are also being sought for several executive service/cabinet positions including director at the Office of Planning and director for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Interim directors have also been appointed for these positions.
