California uni energy P3 oversubscribed

A university in California is to host a second industry day for an energy P3, amid significant interest in the project.

California State University, Fresno will host a webinar and site visit for the Central Utility Plant Replacement Project, after it was unable to accommodate all individuals that expressed interest in the original industry day on November 2 “due to capacity constraints”.

The webinar will take place on November 15, followed by a site visit the following day, with interested parties requested to confirm their attendance by November 13.

The university issued a request for qualifications in early October for partners to design, build, finance and maintain its central heating and cooling plant, deliver ancillary infrastructure and implement various energy efficiency upgrades across the campus.

Following the decision to host a second industry day, the university has also opted to extend the deadline for the submission of statements of qualifications from November 29 to December 12.
