New head for DC OP3

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has appointed a new director of its Office of Public-Private Partnerships (DC OP3), replacing Seth Miller Gabriel.

Bowser announced a raft of changes to DC government agencies yesterday evening, following her re-election.

Among the changes, she has announced that Kathryn Roos will take over as interim director at the OP3, moving from her current role as the manager of P3s and streetlights for the District Department of Transportation.

Before joining the District, Roos spent four years as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Miller Gabriel had been in post as director of the unit since it was launched by Mayor Bowser in December 2015.
