Brazil changes airport tenders

Brazil has altered the tenders for its international airport PPPs of Galeão and Confins.

The government has changed the tenders for the deals, in Rio de Janeiro city and Minas Gerais state capital Belo Horizone respectively, to increase competition among bidders.

As part of the changes, the national civil aviation agency Anac has stipulated that bidders will now be able to take part in both tenders,  as opposed to only one as defined in the previous process.

Teams will still only be able to successfully win one of the two contracts however.
