The Saint-Jerome Hospital as well as the Baie-Saint Paul Regional Health Centre are two hospitals the province is currently preparing documentation to move the projects forward. The Baie-Saint Paul project is worth $376.3m while the Saint-Jerome Hospital is around $119.9m.
According to Mario Deschamps, acting vice president for projects for Infrastructure Quebec, the projects represents a part of the overall infrastructure plan for the next 10 years, which will see up to $19.4bn being spent on the health sector.
