Puerto Rico names advisors for key deals

The government of Puerto Rico has appointed new advisors for its flagship P3 deals.

The country’s P3 authority (PR-PPPA) has now selected new technical advisors for the Caguas-San Juan commuter rail P3, with legal, financial and technical advisors also named for the women’s and men’s correctional facilities P3s.

Engineering and architectural design firm Behar-Ybarra & Associates,  have been appointed as technical advisors for the Caguas-San Juan deal, with Steer Davies Gleave and Ames and Gough also overseeing the revenue and ridership studies and insurance risk management respectively.

In addition, Kevane Grant Thornton has also bee selected as the financial and procurement advisor for the correctional facilities projects, with Aird & Berlis and Caribbean Project Management appointed as legal and technical advisors for the deals.
