The city of São Paulo has announced the date for the second public consultation for its streetlighting P3.

The meeting will take place on December 5 and be held in the center of the city. The deadline for responses to the first hearing closed on November 24. The public consultation for the deal was launched on October 14.

City mayor Fernando Haddad first revealed the plans to replace 580,000 streetlights in the city with modern technology in April.

Under the plans for the project, a private team will carry out the modernization services, optimization, expansion, operation, maintenance and remote control and real-time public lighting system for the city.
