DC OP3 procurement rules approved

The new procurement rules for the DC Office of Public-Private Partnerships (OP3) have now been approved.

The OP3 has confirmed that the DC Council has approved the rules, which will now take effect in the coming weeks.

Under the new rules, the OP3 will then be able to then launch projects through a solicited process and will be open to accept unsolicited proposals after a 30-day period.

The agency urged interested bidders to meet with the organization to discuss proposals during that process.

OP3 was established through legislation in 2014 and the office was funded and stood up in Fiscal Year 2016.
