RFQ for Canada waste P3

Authorities in British Columbia have issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a Residuals Waste Treatment Facility.

Partnerships BC has issued the RFQ for the waste P3 on behalf of the Capital Regional District. The RFQ also invites teams to express their interest in the project in Saanich, which will produce Class A Biosolids.

Design and construction is expected to begin in January 2018, with the service beginning in the summer of 2020.

The project is a component of the Core Area Wastewater Treatment Project. In September the Capital Regional District Board approved the recommendations by the Core Area Wastewater Treatment Project Board for a new waste management plan following a business case prepared with Partnerships BC.

The closing date is February 9, 2017. For contact details click here.
