Winner for Colombia airport advisory role

An international consortium has won the tender to advise the Colombian authorities on the delivery of the El Dorado 2 airport P3 project.

The Unión Temporal Dorado 2 has been appointed as the winner of the mandate, and is comprised of Colombian firm C & M Consultores; Britain’s Mott Macdonald and the Spanish firm Aertec Solutions.

Under the 22-month contract, the team will support all phases of the process, from structuring the P3 through to financial close.

Luis Fernando Andrade, president of the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI), said that the organisations in the consortium “are very high quality companies that will begin the detailed work of what will be this new airport”.

ANI tendered the $12m contract in September.
