Advisors sought for Jamaican health P3

The government of Jamaica has issued a request for expressions of interest for consultants for a potential health P3.

The Ministry of Health is seeking advisors to develop the masterplan and oversee procurement for the Center of Excellence for Oncology and Nephrology at St Joseph’s Hospital in Kingston, with a satellite cancer treatment facility on the grounds of the Cornwall Regional Hospital near Montego Bay, St James.

Under the first phase of the 10-month contract, advisors will conduct the feasibility study for the project, including design and business case.

The consultants will then provide legal, financial and technical support once the government approves procurement under a P3 model.

The World Bank is financing the advisory assignment.

Advisors have until November 30 to express interest.
