Interest builds for Texas water P3

Over 50 firms were represented at a pre-submittal meeting for a potential water P3 in Texas.

Investors and contractors in attendance at the event in Corpus Christi included Balfour Beatty, Acciona, Severn Trent, Poseidon, Cintra, Flatiron, Lane, Veolia, Black & Veatch, Hunt Companies, Suez, Plenary and Brookfield. Advisory firms included Parsons, Turner & Townsend, CH2M, EY, Banister Group, HDR and Aecom.

As previously reported the City of Corpus Christi is considering entering into one or more alternative delivery contracts for its wastewater management program as it aims to reduce the total costs of wastewater service delivery. The city is open to considering a wide range of potential P3 and outsourcing models.

Responses to the request for information are due by November 10, with questions by tomorrow, October 27.
