Shortlist for Maryland courthouse

Maryland’s Howard County has shortlisted three teams for the Circuit Courthouse P3.

The three teams moving to the request for proposals stage are; 

  • Edgemoor-Star America Judicial Partners/HOK/Clark 
  • Howard County Justice Partners – Forum Equity/Hensel Phelps/Fentress
  • Howard Judicial Partners -Skanska Infrastructure/Fengate/Heery

As previously reported nine teams expressed an interest in the project.  

The new Circuit Courthouse will be 230,000 gross square feet and equipped with additional courtrooms and space for jury and staff. The building will be accompanied by a structured car park with 600 spaces and the ability to expand to 1,100 spaces.

A winner is expected in the third quarter of 2018. 

The winning consortium will design, build, partially finance, maintain and operate the facilities under a long-term contract.
