Build America Bureau seeks legal advisors

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is to issue a tender to provide the Build America Bureau with legal advisory services.

The Build America Bureau has a requirement for non-personal legal advisory services in the transportation infrastructure project finance area to support its activities and program.

Tasks under the contracts will include:

  • General due diligence
  • Legal document drafting and negotiation
  • Advising on collateral package
  • Closing of credit transactions
  • Portfolio management
  • Training and other bureau matters (eg legal research and template revisions)

As a result of this planned solicitation, the FHWA intends to award multiple IDIQ contracts, which will include a five-year ordering period with a total ordering ceiling value of $14m for all task orders issued against all contracts.
