The authority invited Aurora Access Partners, NAE Transportation Partners and North Star Infrastructure to submit proposals to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Tlicho All Season Road project under a 25-year concession.
Proponents have until August 9, 2018 for technical submissions, while financial submissions are due on August 29.
Equity providers in the three teams are:
• Aurora Access Partners: Graham Capital Partners and Colas Canada;
• NAE Transportation Partners: Eiffage, North American Construction Group and LaPrairie Works;
• North Star Infrastructure: Kiewit Canada Development Corporation;
The corridor consists of approximately 97 kilometers of a new two-lane road to Whati, with four new bridges and one arched culvert.
The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board is conducting the environmental assessment for the project.
The federal government will provide up to 25 per cent of eligible project costs through the P3 Canada Fund.
