Aviva appoints new CFO

Insurance giant Aviva has appointed Charlotte Jones as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and executive director.

Insurance giant Aviva has appointed Charlotte Jones as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and executive director.

The move makes Aviva only the second FTSE 100 firm to have female chief finance and executive officers, the other being Natwest.

Previously CFO of RSA Insurance, Jones has held a series of seniorship roles at major firms including Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Jupiter Management Fund.

Amanda Blanc, Aviva’s CEO said the appointment of Jones marks an “an exceptional addition to Aviva and will play a central role as we accelerate our performance and grow.”

She will start her new role from September 5, 2022.
