RFI for major NI complex

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council in Northern Ireland is considering the best delivery model for a project on 303 acres of land.

The authority has issued a request for information (RFI) for interested parties to provide views on its plans to develop new assets on the land owned by the council at Silverwood leisure complex, Lurgan.

It anticipates that the bidder will invest in, and develop, existing and new assets on the land and is seeking information to support its consideration of the options available and preparation of the procurement.

“The procurement route, delivery model, scope of project, works and contract terms required will be further considered by the council following this preliminary market consultation and engagement with market participants,” the RFI said.

Interested parties have until 7 January 2021 to register their interest and provide information on the plans, with an invitation to tender currently scheduled for 4 March.
