Development of the first building at the site is being delivered by John Sisk & Son as the main contractor on the scheme, which is being developed by the Bruntwood SciTech team in partnership with the University of Birmingham.

Bruntwood SciTech is a 50:50 joint venture between Bruntwood and Legal & General, which is developing a range of projects on the site. The first building will include specialist office and laboratory space for innovative life science and digital healthcare companies.

“It is fantastic to see work underway, and I want to congratulate the team on reaching this milestone,” said Andy Street, the Mayor of the West Midlands.
