Citigroup has hired Luisa Leyenaar-Huntingford to be co-head of its global infrastructure business.
Leyenaar-Huntingford joins from Goldman Sachs, where she helped build the bank’s infrastructure offering, and will replace Francisco Abularach, who recently left to join Antin Infrastructure Partners.
Working out of London, she will share the role with New York-based Todd Guenther, according to a memo seen by Reuters.
According to the memo, Citi is seeing “significant private investment demand” around the world and is “poised for further growth”, particularly in the energy, transport, environment, waste, telecoms and digital assets.
