Third Irish housing bundle moves closer

Preparations for the Irish government’s Social Housing Bundle 3 have taken a step closer with the tender for site investigations work.

The National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) has issued the tender for site investigations work covering the bundle, which is split into two lots covering three sites in Dublin (lot one) and sites in counties Sligo, Kildare and Wicklow (all lot two).

The deadline for bids is 18 January 2021.

Once this work is underway, the NDFA will look to begin the procurement of the main PPP contract for the bundle, with a call for tenders expected in early 2021.

The NDFA is running the procurement on behalf of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and Dublin City Council.
